I received the following note from Garrett’s kindergarten teacher: (The red is mine.)
I was also notified on two separate occasions that – and I quote: "Garrett had trouble lissening in class today!"
Even so, I won’t name the teacher.

I was once on a field trip to an observatory, in Jackson MI, and one of the teachers there asked what happens to the spot the stars where in when you get a falling star, and it wasn’t an attempt to spark wonder in the kids, she was actually surprised that falling stars are bits of rock or sand buring up in the atmosphere!
